This villa in Mallorca near Pollensa is just a short drive from town, where you’ll find the 365 Calvario steps, used every Good Friday for a religious procession. The old town of Pollensa also offers many historic buildings (including a former Jesuit convent), as well as a market in Placa Major square. A little further away, several natural beaches and a primary man-made beach dot the coastline of Pollensa Bay, and the usual array of water sports are available here. The waters are particularly warm and shallow, good for families with children. You can also explore the Albufereta Nature Reserve: 150 hectares of lakes, canals, and reed beds teeming with birds. In Alcudia town you’ll find the usual restaurants and shops, as well as an atmosphere steeped in ancient history—all the way back to the Phoenicians and Greeks who came first, followed by the Romans, who made this town the capital of the island. Today you can enter the narrow streets via one of two gates that were constructed after the conquest of King Jaime I of Spain in 1235. A guided tour is offered for those who want to fully appreciate the historic significance of the area.

This villa is situated in the quiet, secluded Sierra La Coma Valley, with stunning mountain views. This rustic villa is surrounded by carob, olive, fig, and oak trees in a rural environment where sheep graze and you can enjoy the relaxing sound of their bells. A lovely, private swimming pool (8m x 5m, 1.1-2.2m deep) sits at the back of the house, along with an outdoor shower, a built-in barbecue, a nice lawn, and a large carob tree for shade. The back yard is fenced in for the safety of any children in your party. There is a covered terrace with furniture for outdoor dining on one side off the house, outside of the living room and kitchen. The villa itself is built on one level, making it suitable for children or the elderly. It is furnished with a mix of local antiques and pine furniture.

Ground Floor: The covered terrace leads into a combination living/dining room with a sofa, armchair, fireplace, satellite TV, and a table for six. The modern kitchen is equipped with a gas cook-top, an electric oven, and a dishwasher. There are three bedrooms. The first room has a double bed and an en suite bathroom. The second and third bedrooms both have two single beds. They share one bathroom. There is also a laundry room with a washing machine.
