This light, bright and spacious penthouse apartment has stunning views of the architectural treasures of the city and of the surrounding hills. These breathtaking views may be enjoyed from the large furnished terrace and from every window. The living room is furnished with a pull-out twin size sofa bed, chairs and a working fireplace. There is a separate dining room with seating for four. The living room and dining room have French doors which open onto a large furnished terrace overlooking the Piazza Santa Croce. The fully equipped kitchen features a dishwasher, cook top, microwave oven, washer and dryer, toaster and American coffee maker. The master bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed that can be divided into twin beds (upon request) and has an en suite bathroom with a tub with hand held showerhead, sink and WC. From the master bedroom window you have a view over the tile rooftops. The second bedroom has a single bed, with an en suite bathroom with shower, sink and WC. The apartment has independent central heating and air conditioning.

Enjoyed Most:
The property was in a good area...fairly close to most things.
Unpleasant Surprises:
The property was valued with a terrace...unfortunately the piazza was closed below ...with construction going on for two weeks to erect bleachers for a soccer game. You also get additional charges for electricity, gas and cleaning. One final note, we had a problem using the pull-out sofa bed in the living room although it was described as being available...they did have a roll-away bed we put in the master bedroom which would be "inconvenient" for a couple. In essence the property only sleeps 3 comfortably. The weather was cool in June for us but if it had been hot - and the apartment is on the 4th floor - the electricity cost would have been incredible using the AC.
Surrounding Area:
Was pleasant, although the piazza was closed during our stay.
